Kenice Mobley

Kenice Mobley is a filmmaker and standup comedian currently living in Boston. While originally coming to the area for graduate school, she stuck around for the colorful (in personality, not ethnically) locals.

Kenice regularly performs stand up comedy around New England and has performed in the Women in Comedy Festival and the Boston Comedy Festival. She has opened for W. Kamau Bell and Marina Frankin, was named Comic in Residence (November 2016) for the Comedy Studio in Harvard Square, and was recently featured in Scout Magazine. Her jokes usually center around dating, race and her eccentric Southern family; her mother is very proud.

Kenice also produced and co-wrote the 12 part webseries Allston Xmas, with episodes showcasing the changing relationships of moving day, when everyone in Boston relocates within the same weekend. The project was written up in the Boston Herald, Boston Magazine, and Dig Magazine and is currently available on
